What we store

The receipts, invoices and bank statements you send; the figures read from them; the double-entry books built from those figures; and your account details (name, email) from sign-in.

Who processes it

We use a small number of service providers to run the product:

• Google (Gemini) — documents you send are processed by Google's AI to read the supplier, date, amounts and line items.
• Clerk — handles sign-in and account security.
• Stripe — handles payments. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.
• Railway and Vercel — host the application and database.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share your books with anyone else.

Separation between businesses

Each business's data is isolated at the database level, so one customer cannot read another's books.

How long we keep it

Records are retained for seven years by default, matching the retention period expected under the Income Tax Act 1967 (s.82 and s.82A). You can export or delete your data before then if you choose.

Where it is stored

Our hosting and database providers may store data on servers outside Malaysia. If your business requires records to be held locally, tell us before signing up.

Your choices

You can export your receipts and statements at any time from the dashboard, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data. Deletion is permanent.
